Steve Harris

Steve Harris has been coaching youth basketball for the past 12 years, leading organizations including the New York Gauchos and Team Roc Basketball. Under his leadership from 1999-2004, the 6th and 8th grade Team Roc won 4 Holcombe Rucker Championships, 2 UDC Championships and made it to the Sweet 16 at the AAU Nationals, among other achievements. There he coached such notable players as Kemba Walker, Jordan Theodore, Russell Smith, Joshua Watkins and Shaquille Stokes. As head coach of the Gauchos 7th and 9th grade teams from 2003-2010, Harris coached Doron Lamb, Shane Southwell, Sandro Carmissimo and Melvin Johnson and placed 4th, 5th and 9th in AAU Nationals.
